found in 1990, lesson offers high - quality, professional private piano and music theory instructions. Grace Kim is known for her highly effective, personalized approch to teaching, helping students build a healthy technique and strong foundation while progressing at an accelerated pace. Her ultimate goal is to nurture a lifelong love of music and guide each student toward reaching their full potential.
She believes goals are important for student success.
The studio hosts two annual recitals:
- Spring Recital - Held at a recital hall
- Winter Recital- Held at North Point Mall
In addition, students may participate in:
- National Federation Music Club Festival
- North Fulton Music Teachers Association Fall Festival
- Georgia Music Teachers Association Audition
- ABRSM and RCM Exam Preparation
- Piano auditions and competitions for more advanced students
- Music College Audition Preparation
INSTUCTOR BIO
Grace Kim holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy at Georgia State University and Bachelor of Arts in Music degree (Piano Major) from University of Wisconsin. She was a scholarship recipient at UWM. She also pursued graduate studies in Collaborative Piano at UWM.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, Grace has guided numerous students to achieve top honors at local, regional, and state-level competitions and events. She has served as a audition chairman for the NFMTA.
In addition to her teaching, she served as a church pianist, organist and conductor for over 20years.
Grace Kim is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), Georgia Music Teachers Association (GMTA), North Fulton Music Teachers Association(NFMTA), National Federation Music Club (NFMC), and the Georgia Federation Music Club (GFMC).
